IT Carlow critical of WIT withdrawal from merger process

IT Carlow is hitting back today at Waterford IT for the reasons they’ve given for withdrawing from the South East University merger.

Its the first time they’ve been openly critical of the move but Head of Development in Carlow Declan Doyle says there is only so much they can take.

He says they fail to see the logic in Waterford IT withdrawing from the process before an international panel of experts gets the opportunity to review the proposal.

Declan Doyle said this has to be about what is best for the South East and its students.
