Carlow election candidate failed to declare election expenses to local authority

A candidate for the recent Carlow Local elections could be hit with a fine for not telling the council how much he spend on his campaign.
Conor Dowling was the only one out of 35 candidates that failed to give the council his elections expenses and donations under the local elections act and could be fined up to 1 thousand 500 euro.
The Elections were held on the 23rd of May this year.
