A food festival with a difference is taking place in one Carlow town today
The inaugural ‘Ballon Street and Food Rescue Festival’ begins at 12 noon on Church Street in the town.
‘Food Rescue’ is an initiative which aims to highlight the issue of throwing away good food in Ireland so today’s festival will see dishes made out of produce that might normally go to waste.
