Carlow forecaster says spells of sunshine for day two of Electric Picnic

Electric Picnic-goers are more likely to need suncream, than ponchos and wellies.

Kodaline and Calvin Harris are the headliners on day two of the festival in Stradbally.

The weather forecast is for mostly dry weather today with temperatures in the high teens.

It’s expected to be quite cool at night, but Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather says the forecast is mainly good,

“Another good day ahead with temperatures getting up to maybe 19 or 20 degrees.  Sunny spells on and off, so it’s still be jumper on and jumper off type of weather.”

“Don’t forget the sun cream because there will also be good sunny spells and this time of the year, you can still well and truly get sunburned.  So it’s more sun cream than ponchos and wellies this year.”
