In the Junior Football championship ‘A’ in Carlow last night, Grange had an eight point win over Rathvilly, 3-12 to 2-7 is how it finished.

Meanwhile St Patrick’s bounced back from a surprise defeat last week to beat Leighlinbridge by eleven points 1-16 to 1-5.

Kildavin-Clonegal manager Damien Treacy says they will have to be at their best on Sunday if they are to defeat Tinryland in the 2nd round of the Senior Football Championship.

Speaking to KCLR, Damien says that every team in Carlow represents a stiff challenge……

In the intermediate football championship group two St. Andrews and the Fighting Cocks meet in Netwatch Cullen Park at 7-30. Each team are looking for their first win
