Carlow Gardai appeal for witnesses to hit and run incident

Carlow Gardai are looking for your help in tracing the driver of a car involved in a hit and run incident on Sunday night in the town.

3 people were walking on Oak Park Road from the Rugby Club side when a passing car struck one of them causing leg injuries.

The car stayed going and Gardai are anxious to hear from anyone who may have seen it and they’re appealing to the driver to come forward.

It happened at around 10 past 10 on the Oak Park road at the junction of Oakley Drive.
