Carlow Gardaí on the hunt for two men after woman disturbed burglary in her apartment

Carlow Gardaí are on the hunt for two men after a woman came home to find her apartment being burgled.

It happened on Tuesday morning of this week between 10.15 and 10.30 at Clarence Gate on the Kilkenny Road.

They had broken the lock on her front door and seemed to be targetting more expensive items like laptops.

Garda Ralph Holmes told KCLR they do have a description of the men and they’re looking for anyone who may have seen them in the area to get in touch:

“The first was over six foot tall, wearing a black or navy top and trousers, with black shoes and had short black hair. We don’t have as much on the second male, just that he was of a similar height but was wearing lighter coloured clothing.

“They left the apartment building on foot so we’re not looking for any particular vehicle. We are looking for any residents in the Clarence Gate area, but also there may have been people going to and from the Vocational School or IT Carlow, to get in touch. “
