Gardaí in Carlow are looking for witnesses after damage was caused to the house of an elderly man overnight.
At about 12.30am a mug was thrown through the man’s front window on Burrin Street in the town.

Garda Ralph Holmes told KCLR Live this morning that the victim went outside and saw a number of people in the area at the time.
