Carlow got lions share of funding from IDA in 2016 according to figures

Just over 1.5 million euro in grant aid came to Carlow and Kilkenny from the IDA last year.

Carlow got the lions share of that – at 1.08 million euro while Kilkenny received just 440,000.

New figures show foreign direct investment totalled almost €93 million in 2016.

Three counties – Leitrim, Meath and Roscommon got nothing at all.
