A group from Carlow will join thousands of people as they hop around a town in Luxembourg today.
The annual procession will see 10,000 people hop from one foot to another around a two kilometre loop of the top of Echternach in honour of St Willibrord who it is said is patron of convulsions and epilepsy.
A group of Carlow pilgrims have travelled over for the celebrations and yesterday the Archbishop of Luxembourg presented a relic of the Saint to Bishop Denis Nulty to bring home to Carlow.
St Willibrord was educated in Carlow for 12 years during the 7th century.
