Carlow Independent Councillor goes back to Fianna Fail for local elections

A local independent Councillor has been revealed as Fianna fail’s latest local election candidate.

David O Brien had been a Fianna Fail candidate before running as an Independent in the 2009 elections when he failed to secure a place.

He told KCLR that he has maintained a good working relationship with other party members and was encouraged to put his name forward for the party ticket.

He says he expects people might be disappointed that hes not an independent anymore.
