Carlow-Kilkenny Deputy to sit with Banking inquiry colleagues today to decide terms of reference

Fine Gael TD John Paul Phelan will sit down with his fellow members of the Oireachtas Banking Inquiry to agree terms of reference today

The committee is expected to lay out an ambitious timeline for hearings, with the aim of starting some public hearings as early as December.

The first hearings with key witnesses and major players in the banking collapse are not expected until next April however.
