A Carlow Kilkenny TD says the legislation for Irish Water needs to be revised and amended.
John McGuinness believes the setting up of the private body means that the Public Accounts Committee will not have the authority to invetigate spending.
He says he has asked the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform to change the legislation.
