A Carlow Labour Councillor says its a sad day for Ireland following news of a bomb threat to the office of the Environment Minister this morning.

A woman rang Alan Kellys office in Nenagh this morning making several threats regarding bombs and locations.

The Minister has branded it ‘Shocking, appalling and disgraceful’.

It comes just days after the Tanaiste was trapped in a car at an anti water charge protest in Jobstown.
