Carlow Lions in final funds push for 2024 Christmas campaign

We’re into the final few days of the Carlow Lions Christmas campaign.

Donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the main supermarkets in Carlow town today (Friday, 13th December) and tomorrow (Saturday, 14th December) for hampers which will be distributed locally.

While an on-street collection for cash, with payments possible by card, taking place on Saturday, 21st December.

The first weekend of their initiative was hit by Storm Darragh last Saturday so it’s hoped the usual level of donations will be recouped in the coming days, but local Lion Eoin Kehoe has been telling KCLR News’ Edwina Grace the response is strong;
