Carlow list waiting for adaptation grants should be clear by Christmas

There’s good news for those on the waiting list for adaptation grants in Carlow as just under half a million euro in extra funding has been granted.

450 thousand euro has been given to Carlow County Council to go towards the Housing Adaptation for the Elderly and People with Disability Grant.

Currently there are around 30 people on the waiting list to have their homes adapted.

Housing Officer with the local Council, Tim Butler says they now hope to have that list cleared before Christmas.
