Carlow lose out to Leitrim in football league

Carlow lost out to Leitrim today in Division four of the football league by 1-17 to 1-8.

Anthony Rainbow’s side trailed by 0-8 to 0-4 at half time having played with the wind in the first half.

Mark Brennan received a black card in the second half which reduced Carlow to 14 men and despite a Seamus Kinsella goal the home side romped to a 9 point win in Carrick On Shannon
