A Lotto player in Carlow is celebrating a major win after matching five numbers and the bonus in Saturday night’s draw to claim €195,118.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Wednesday, February 4th, at Centra on the Burrin Road, located at Unit 2, Lissard House, Carlow. The Carlow winner was the biggest winner of the night nationwide.
The winning numbers in the Saturday, February 7th Lotto draw were 04, 05, 19, 21, 32 and 35, with the bonus number 39.
The National Lottery is urging anyone who bought a ticket at the Centra Burrin Road store to check their tickets carefully, as the winning ticket has yet to be claimed.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said that while more than 99,000 players nationwide won prizes in Saturday’s Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, only one player matched five numbers and the bonus.
She advised the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it safe, and to contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or by email at [email protected]
, where arrangements will be made for the prize to be collected at Lottery Headquarters.
Meanwhile, as there was no winner of the €8.87 million Lotto jackpot on Saturday night, Wednesday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €9.2 million, with ticket sales closing at 7.45pm on Wednesday evening.
