A Carlow man’s been in court today following a water charges protest on Monday.
28-year-old Gareth Coakley from John Sweeney Park appeared before Carlow District Court today charged with public order and criminal damage offences.
He’s been remanded on bail to appear again in court on the 15th of October.
Meanwhile,
Carlow Gardai are continuing to investigate a fire in John Sweeney Park in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Five water meter barriers were stacked an set alight in the housing estate causing some damage to the area.
