Carlow Man Charged After Stolen Property Recovered

A man in his thirties has been charged with eight theft-related offences following a Garda operation in Carlow town.

A team searched a house yesterday morning and recovered a number of items believed to have been stolen from cars in the area over the past week.

The man, who lives in the town, was arrested and taken to Carlow Garda Station, where he was detained and interviewed. He is due to appear before Carlow District Court this afternoon.

Gardaí say they are currently speaking to victims with a view to returning the recovered property.
