Carlow Mayor Paul Doogue ‘disgusted’ by defacing of town mural

Carlow’s Mayor says he’s disgusted by the defacing of a town mural.

Gala Hutton’s work at the back of Little Barrack Street on Love Lane/Lána Grá brightened up the stretch and had been lauded by many (see why via the photos by Anthony Heaney at All About Carlow).

However, in recent days it’s been graffiti’d over – Cllr Paul Doogue had this reaction;
