Carlow Minor hurlers beaten in Championship opener

For the third year in a row Carlow minor hurlers after a good start leading by four points to one after eight minutes had to give way to a stronger Offaly side in the Leinster Minor Hurling Championship at O’Connor Park Tullamore.

Offaly led by 0-12 to 0-5 at half time and ran out twelve point winners on a final scoreline of 1-19 to 0-1.
