Carlow mother 'at her wits end' as 3 year old son has to wait weeks for replacement hearing aids

The mother of a little Carlow boy who is profoundly deaf says he is being made wait 5 weeks for replacement hearing aids.

3 year old Louis has just started Montessori but cannot hear a thing without his hearing aids which he lost back in August.

His mother Leona contacted the Sue Nunn show out of frustration over the wait and the lack of services being made available for him in terms of speech therapy and other assistances.

She says she is at her wits end.
