Carlow now has the lowest rate of covid-19 in the country

Carlow now has the lowest incidence rate of covid-19 in the country.

Figures published by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre for the last 2 weeks (23 June to 6 July) show just fifteen cases were reported in the county up to July 6th.

Kilkenny had sixty three reported cases of the virus in the same time frame.

That is a slight increase but it remains among the counties with a lower incidence rate.
