Bríde de Róiste is the driving force behind the 2026 Pan Celtic Fesitval, which will be held in Carlow from Tuesday, April 7th through to Saturday, April 11th.
During the five-day festival, a host of venues in Carlow Town will showcase and celebrate the culture and heritage of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, the Isle of Man and Brittany through music, song, dance, storytelling, poetry, sport, art and craft.
President Catherine Connolly will officially open this year’s Festival at the George Bernard Shaw Theatre at the VISUAL Arts Centre in Carlow on Tuesday, April 7th at 7:30pm, followed by ‘Ceolchoirm na Féile’, a gala concert of Celtic music, song and dance.
The festival’s opening session will be held that night at The Mezz in the Dinn Rí (9pm) featuring local and visiting musicians, singers and guests led by Niall McNally, Megan McDonald and Laura Doherty.
