The Carlow Rose, Miriam Smyth, has been selected to progress to the Rose of Tralee International Festival.
The Kilkenny rose was not selected but the Luxembourg rose is from Kilkenny and will also be taking part.
23 Roses were selected to progress to the Festival in Tralee in Laois last night.
Roses from the Ireland include Carlow, Clare, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim & Laois.
The Derby, Manchester, Nottingham & Scotland will represent the UK.
The USA Roses are from Arizona, Boston & New England, Kentucky, North Carolina, Philadelphia,
Southern California, Texas & Washington DC
Toronto & Western Canada roses will represent Canada and there are also roses coming from Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Luxembourg.
The International Festival from 15-19 August in Tralee.
