It’s now hoped two school buildings in Carlow will be complete by the start of the summer.
The Minister for Education, Joe McHugh says Carlow’s Tyndall College and Institute of Further Education are among the last to be done.
Work halted after the collapse of Carillion Construction more than a year ago.
Six schools were affected and three of those have already been completed.
KCLR reported last year that it’ll be the new school year at the earliest before students move into the two local buildings.
