Carlow Senator says the Taoiseach is delaying the Seanad from meeting

A local senator has hit out at Taoiseach Enda Kenny for not nominating his 11 senators yet.

Carlow’s Jennifer Murnane O’Connor has raised her concerns that no business can be done in the Seanad until he does this.

She was elected to the Seanad four weeks ago.

Speaking to KCLR, the senator says it’s simply not good enough, and that the country is suffering from Enda Kenny’s failure to appoint his 11 senators.
