Students from St Leos College in Carlow are in Athlone today to speak out about the social issues concerning them and giving their solutions to tackle them.
Its part of a Young Social Innovators annual project for 15-18 year olds where they will dress in costumes, sing and act to ‘speak out’ about their chosen topic which includes mental health bullying, suicide awareness and preventing childhood obesity.
Up to 200 are expected at the event in the Sheraton Hotel.
