Carlow teacher picks up poetry award

A Carlow man has collected a top award for his poetry.

Simon Lewis, who is Principal at Carlow Educate Together has won the Hennessy Emerging Writer Award for poetry this week.

He told KCLR what his poems are part of a larger collection he’s writing which he hopes will soon be published.
