Tesco stores in Co Carlow raised almost €1,200 euro for Temple Street Children’s Hospital recently.
The money was raised in just 6 hours during their LemonAid and Lollipops fundraiser.
Customers to the stores got a cup of lemonade or a lollipop in return for a donation.
The initiative was held in stores in Carlow and Tullow.
All 149 stores nationally took part, raising a total of €185,000.
