Carlow Tidy Towns baffled by poor IBAL result

The Chairperson of Carlow Tidy Towns says she is baffled by the continuing poor performances of the town in the IBAL litter league.

Irish Business Against Litter published the results of its most recent survey yesterday showing Carlow in 33rd position and deemed to be moderately littered.

Kilkenny meanwhile is top of the league again.

Lorraine Hynes says they cannot work out why Carlow is consistently bad in these surveys when it continues to perform so well in the National Tidy Towns competition.
