Mixed fortunes for the two counties today in their Leinster Minor Hurling Quarter-Finals, as Carlow beat Kildare 1-22 to 3-12 , while Kilkenny lost to Dublin 2-08 to 0-03.
The two sides will now meet next month in Nowlan park for a loser’s playoff, as Carlow had previously lost their Round One match to Offaly 1-16 to 1-08.
