A Carlow women has landed a role in one of Irelands best known soaps.
Karen McCartney from Carlow Town will appear in Fair City after auditioning a few weeks ago for the part.
She says she’ll be starting work on it at the end of this month but she cant give too much away about it.
Her recent work includes Druid Shakespeare, musical “The Train”, and a feature film by Mark Sheridan called Crone Wood which will be out later this year.
