It’s been two weeks since they threatened to withdraw their services but Carlow’s paramedics say they’ve yet to meet with management.
KCLR revealed the week before last that the ambulance staff were threatening to leave their base which is at St Dympna’s on the Athy Road because of the poor conditions there and instead operate from Kilkenny.
However, after much publicity they were guaranteed that problems with their prefab would be fixed so the crew remained there.
But speaking to KCLR News, Carlow Senator Jennifer Murnane O’Connor says staff have since heard nothing from management.
