Carlows hurlers win against Derry while the footballers draw with Wicklow

Carlows hurlers sit top of Division 2A after they beat Derry by 2 points yesterday.

A Seamus Murphy goal on the stroke of half time set up Carlow for a run through the second half and they came out on top 1-15 to 1-13.

They play Kerry in their second last game on Sunday at Netwatch Cullen Park at 12-00 pm.

Meanwhile the footballers drew at home Wicklow, 9 points a piece is how it finished.
