The new bridge site in Kilkenny has been cleared with protesters put out at 6 o clock this morning.
Just 2 of them were there at Greensbridge when the council and Gardai arrived to clear and secure the site

The entire site including the footpath at one side of Greensbridge has now been sealed off.

The protesters that have been on the site for the past 8 weeks are expected to regroup now to consider their next move.
