They said they were going to keep their demonstration going, and that’s what they’re doing.
Despite being moved on yesterday morning, Kilkenny Central Access Scheme protesters remain close to Greens Bridge on the opposite side of where they had set up camp.
Gardai and the Council removed protesters off the site yesterday and then put a fence up around the site where work is going on for the new bridge.
Up to 5 members remain there this afternoon with placards.
