Gardaí are hunting for four men who broke into a home in Inistioge yesterday evening.
A man, who was home when the intruders entered the house at Ballyshane shortly after 7pm, was unharmed in the incident.
They searched the house and fled with a small amount of cash.
Anyone who noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area is asked to contact the local Garda station.
