Catalytic converters targeted by thieves in Kilkenny city estates

Catalytic converters are being targeted by thieves in Kilkenny city.

Two were taken from cars in recent days in the Lintown and Melville Heights estates with an attempt on a third vehicle last night (Monday, 15th Sept) at Cluain Glasan on the Granges Road.

Anybody with information is asked to contact Gardai.

Separately, witnesses are being sought to a car fire in Westfield which broke out after 3am on Sunday morning.

They believe it to be malicious and are appealing to anybody who noticed suspicious activity to contact them at the city station on 056 777 5000.
