League champions Clara continued their good form with a win over Erins Own in the Quarter Final of the St Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling Championship.
It Finished Clara 12 points Erins Own 1-5.
Elsewhere in the 1st round replay Dicksboro overcame Danesfort to seal their place in the quarter final and a city derby against old rivals O’Loughlin Gaels.
In the Intermediate championship, last years junior champions Bennettsbridge continued their remarkable form by booking their place in the semi final.
They beat Tullogher Rosbercon 2-15 to 2-10, while st Patrick’s overcame Young Ireland’s 1-18 to 9 points.
In the Junior Championship Windgap beat Galmoy 1-14 to 1-12, Glenmore beat Callan 2-17 to 1-10 and Blacks and Whites beat Graignamanagh 1-18 to 12 points.
