Clare Grace defends National Boxing title tonight

Callans Claire Grace steps into the ring tonight in the National Elite Championship Finals.

She defends her National title against Grainne Walsh of Sparticus in the 69kg decider at the National Stadium in Dublin.

Claire says that she will more than likely have to box-off the winner of the 75KG if she is to have any chance of qualifying for next years Rio Olympics and believes there should be more weight divisions introduced for the Olympics……

Meanwhile Paulstowns Darren O Neill is in his quarter finals tomorrow night.

He fights in the 91kg category against Stephen Lawrence from Holy Family D.
