Close to 1,500 local premises remain without power this morning after the country was battered by a number of storms in quick succession.
Friday’s Éowyn was followed Herminia with a status yellow wind warning in place until 9am this morning in Waterford as well as Kerry and Cork while it’ll not be lifted for Wexford until 2 o’clock this afternoon.
You’re being warned to watch out for further damage to already weakened trees and structures.
The bulk of the ESB outages locally are along the Freshford Road area of Kilkenny city, a fault at Talbot’s Inch seeing 1,259 homes and businesses out – they could be waiting until 1:30 tomorrow morning for a return.
But for those in the Tullow area, where two faults have been recorded, 54 should get their supply back by 4:15 this afternoon with another 149 due a return by 6pm.
Another pockets in both counties have seen bursts of power loss overnight, including Tullaroan.
