A Carlow community has been left heartbroken today following the death of a 6 year old local girl.
Little Ali Byrne from Barrowvale in Graiguecullen passed away peacefully at home in the care of her family yesterday.

She had a very severe and rare form of refractory epilepsy and ataxia and locals had been actively fundraising through the Ali Byrne fund to assist her and her family with the specialist equipment she needed.
In 2014 Share a Dream helped Ali celebrate her 5th birthday as a Princess for the Day.
Princess Ali B is survived by her heartbroken parents and sisters.
