A north Kilkenny community’s set to gather later for a meeting on a proposed windfarm.
The gathering in Gathabawn gets underway from 8pm.
The company proposing the 12-turbine facility believe it would save 38,250tonnes of greenhouse gases, would generate 150million kilowatts of green electricity
every year, potentially powering supply for 33,237 homes. (details here).
