A local business is celebrating after winning a national accolade.
Electrocity was founded in 1993 in Kilkenny and went to to open outlets in Carlow and Waterford.
Its Electrocity.ie was named ‘Electrical, Technology Website of the Year’ at the PTSB National Digital Awards, an event which spanned 22 categories and saw more than 550 submissions.
Online Operations Manager with Electrocity Ronan McDermott told KCLR News; “We were absolutely delighted to get the award, it really was testament to the hard work of the team here and because we won that particular section we then went on and were nominated as one of the top 13 national websites of the year”.
Electrocity MD Bill Hackett says; “We are absolutely thrilled and deeply honoured to receive the PTSB National Digital awards ‘Electrical, Technology Website of the Year’ award”.
