Controversial Carlow Roadworks To Start Later Following Meeting With Council And Contractors

The controversial roadworks on the Kilkenny Road in Carlow Town are to start a bit later in the mornings after the council met with contractors.

Drivers have been complaining about huge traffic delays there since the works started outside of SETU.

The one lane stop go system will now start at 9.30am each day to take the pressure off at rush hour.

Carlow County Council says they will continue to monitor and review the traffic management system.
