Council gives green light to 83 new homes in Carlow

A major new housing development has been given the greenlight in Carlow.

Nesselside Builders are to construct 83 new homes on a 2.7 hectare site at Browneshill Road Lower and Link Road in Chapelstown, Carlow.

66 two-storey houses, made up of, 18 three-bed terraced , 12 two-bed terraced 36 three-bed semi-detached along with 5 single-storey two-bed bungalows are included in the development.

12 duplex apartments are also planned in two, two-storey blocks, all two-bed units.

The new development also includes new pedestrian access, car parking spaces and all associated ancillary works.
