The United States has been very good to Ireland and we should tread lightly in the face of ongoing diplomatic upheaval – that’s the view of one Carlow Councillor.
It’s as senior Government figures come together this morning to discuss Ireland’s trading relationship with America following a week of uncertainty due to tariff talks.
Mayor Paul Doogue with Councillors John Pender and Daniel Pender are set to represent Carlow’s local authority in New York during St Patrick’s Day festivities.
