Residents across County Carlow are being urged to speak up on local crime and road safety as a new series of public consultations kicks off this week.

The Local Community Safety Partnership is heading to Bagenalstown, Carlow Town, and Tullow to hear about issues affecting those in such areas and surrounds.

The meetings help locals to add their voice, covering everything from anti-social behaviour and lighting to crime prevention and road safety.

The first gathering is tomorrow (Tuesday, 21st April) at McGrath Hall in Bagenalstown from 6pm.

It will be followed by similar in Carlow Town Hall on the 30th of April and the Brigidine Convent in Tullow on the 14th of May.

And there’s an added bonus for those worried about theft as property marking services will be available on-site to help you brand tools, bikes, and equipment, making them easier for Gardaí to track if stolen.
